Interviewing Customers No. 2

1. After interviewing more people, my idea seems more solid and I think it could be very beneficial to students around college campuses.

2. I interviewed students that were currently out enjoying their evening on the weekend. I chose this group because seemed likely that they'd continue sending their evenings/nights doing different activities.

3. I asked the interviewees which activities they participated in and elaborated on the type of app that they would be experiencing.

5. I see this opportunity as one that has a real chance of taking off around college campuses. Most of the people I've interviewed seem to think the idea is really handy and could benefit them.

6. The tips I'd pass on to up-coming classes:

  • Be confident. If you act awkward and shy with your interviewees that'll cause them to feel uncomfortable and likely not respond well.
  • Have your questions ready. Don't go into the interview without having fully thought out your questions, it'll make you sound more intelligent when interviewing people.
  • Don't be afraid to bring  friend! The first interviews I did I had a friend come with me because I thought I would look crazy. It'll make you and them more comfortable.

  1. Hi Tyson

I think your idea is great and interesting. Interviewing people is quite challenging for me because I am a shy person so I ended up tagging one of my friend with me through out the interview. It really helps me to feel more confident.

  2. Hey Tyson. Those are some great tips you gave for future classes on their interviewing. I will definitely be bringing a friend (maybe we can go together?) for future interviews with potential customers. Thanks for this post, I think your idea has a lot of potential and I can't wait to see where you go with it!

  3. I really enjoyed your interviews and think your idea is very relatable especially going to such a big school like UF where there are many things that people don't know are happening. It seemed like everyone was on board with your idea and personally I think it could easily work! Overally great job and very informative interviews.

  4. I think you have a great opportunity with this app. I enjoyed your interviews, and it seems like people would definitely be interesting in using this service. I know I would use this, since I do miss out on events because I find out about them too late. Your tips for interviewing are also very useful, and I have used them when conducting my own interviews. Overall, I think you did a great job. If you would like to see my second round of interviews, the link is below.
